Winter tyres
As an alternative to Snow chains/ socks, consider using specialist winter tyres at temperatures below 7°C to ensure optimal grip of the road. Cold weather tyres are manufactured to provide shorter breaking distances and significantly increased traction control of your vehicle on ice, heavy snow and slush when compared to regulars. Cold weather tyres are also able to provide improved tyre wear when compared to regulars.
